16 and 26

We have been looking at numbers, what we know about them and ways to create a number. At the beginning of most Math times there will be a number on the board.  The children write down everything they know about that number then we share the knowledge. The photos below show the last two days numbers, 16 and 26. And yes the 1000-984=16 came from a child - with no assistance, check out the last photo to see their recording of it.
